These three Bar Stools by Eileen Gray, originally designed for the Iconic E-1027 French villa, also featured in her Paris apartment in Rue Bonaparte. In her Provencal country home, Tempe a Pailla in Castellar, she used this “Bar Stool” design as a nonconformist seat at her drawing desk – another charming example of the versatility of Eileen Gray‘s functional design. The Bar Stool's contemporary design frame is in sectional steel, mounted on a steel base, and lacquered in black. Two brushed stainless steel bars. Upholstered in polyurethane with quilting cotton, covered in classic black leather. These stools were brought from ARAM UK, which holds the worldwide head license for Eileen Gray designs, and are in as-new condition, they were briefly displayed in high-end property staging and never used as part of a household setting.
